Hey all. We recieved word today that our documents have been reviewed by the Indian courts and they have recommended that the judge approve our guardianship. We have made it past what they call scrutiny. Now we wait to be assigned a court date where the judge will approve guardianship. This is the hardest part of the wait for me, by far. So even though I've done well with the waiting up to this point, I no longer guarantee my mental stability :)
It sounds like we are close to travel but the next steps are the least predictable. We could travel very shortly, or it could be several months more. I'd hate to think of that being the case, but it's true. So bear with me :)

Congrats on one more step closer!! Hope that next step comes quick. We are going into our 15 month wait, talking about mental stablity, HAHA sometimes I got it and sometimes I don't. Gidget:)
Congrats on moving to the next step! I am finding that each one gets even harder with a picture in hand. I haven't heard "scrutiny". We were just told that after NOC, court and there are 4 court hearings, with the last one granting guardianship. Evidently, once in courts, most families don't hear anything until the guardianship is granted!
Praying for everything to go quickly for you!!!

I'm so happy to hear this news! I can't believe how quickly NOC and scrutinization are happening lately . . . I'll be hoping and praying that your court dates go just as quickly.

Yeah!! Can't you tell the judge I'll be home in October and would like to see my nephew by then? How wonderful would that be!
